Ziggymon
Ziggymon are the Ziggyverse's battling creatures that players can collect, trade, and level up. With a variety of looks, stats, and skills, you'll always have a unique Ziggymon in your collection.
If you didn’t know already, the Tiles you use have a direct influence on your Ziggymon Stats and dominant Element. When building your team, it’s worth looking at the Tiles you have and how they will affect your team’s build and makeup.
What exactly are Ziggymon?
Ziggymon are a diverse range of monsters discovered by Captain Ziggy on their intergalactic journeys through the Galaxy. They’re duplicated using Tiles. Thus their skills and strengths are derived from a complete set of Tiles, highly dependent on their Element level and rarity. Each Ziggymon also has a unique look and set of traits that define it from others.
A Ziggymon is made up of its:
Ziggymon Stats
Elements and their Elemental Levels
Skills
Creating a Ziggymon requires users to combine a full set of six NFT Tiles, one of each type. You can read more about Tiles in our guide.

What are Ziggymon Stats?
The Ziggymon Stats correspond with the Tile types:
Armour
Agility
Strength
Intelligence
Dexterity
Energy
Each Ziggymon Stat has a direct effect on your Ziggymon’s capabilities:
Armour
This determines the number of hit points a Ziggymon has. If it reaches zero, the Ziggymon is defeated.
Agility
This determines the chance to evade an attack (or skill) and suffer partial damage instead of full.
Strength
This determines how strong attacks will be (both basic attacks and skills). Skills will have a base damage value and Strength provides a bonus that is added to it
Intelligence
This determines the chance of a Ziggymon to resist a status effect (inflicted by a skill usually). It will also provide a passive bonus to all other attributes.
Dexterity
This determines how fast Ziggymon acts. Ziggymon with the highest Dexterity will go first, followed by the Ziggymon with the next highest dexterity and so on. This order is then displayed on the Initiative Bar.
Energy
This determines the amount of Energy a Ziggymon has. Energy is required to use skills and only regenerates when a Ziggymon uses basic attacks and not skills.
Your Ziggymon’s Stats will depend on the quality of Tiles combined. The higher the quality, the more likely the Stats will also be high.
When your Ziggymon is created from your Tiles it rolls a random number for each Tile type (Armour, Agility, Strength, etc.). These represent a Ziggymon’s in-game stats.
The process goes from Armour to Energy, rolling a number between a lower and upper bound (100 and 200, for example). Having a Rare Tile increases the lower range, thus increasing the chance the RNG will roll a higher stat score for that respective Tile type. If you had a Gold Armour Tile, the Armour of your Ziggymon range could be from 160 to 200.
(Note these numbers are not actual and are meant to demonstrate how this function works)
What are Ziggymon Elements?
Every Ziggymon belongs to a certain Element. This directly affects the skills they can use in battle and the base color of the Ziggymon. There are currently four in-game:
Fire
Water
Air
Luck
A Ziggymon’s Element gives it access to a specific set of skills unique to that Element.
Elemental Levels
There are three possible levels a Tile can have: 1 to 3. A Ziggymon is made up of all the Elements, and their levels stem from the Tiles that are used to create it. For example, if you are using four Tiles with level 2 Fire, one Tile with level 3 Water, and one Tile with level 3 Luck, your Ziggymon will have a total Element profile of Level 8 Fire, level 3 Water, and level 3 Luck. This means its dominant Element will be Fire and its base color will be red.
What are Ziggymon Skills?
Skills are the actions and abilities a Ziggymon can use during combat at the cost of Energy. Each Ziggymon has access to one of the base Skills available to all Elements, along with a certain set of Skills depending on their Element profile. Base Skills are modest attacks that require no Energy.
Each Skill has four levels that gradually increase the Skill’s power. These higher levels are gained by having a higher Element level dependent on the Tiles used when creating your Ziggymon and can only be increased through fusing. Skills can also inflict additional Status effects, both in form of buffs or debuffs
As mentioned previously, a Ziggymon will have a dominant Element among all of its Elements. When Skills are assigned to a Ziggymon a pool of possible Skills is created from the combined Elements and elemental levels of the Ziggymon. A non-fused Ziggymon has a total of four Skills.
The first assigned Skill is from a pool of basic attacks that all Ziggymon can get. The second is based on the dominant Element a Ziggymon has, meaning it will always receive at least one Skill from its dominant element. The next two are randomly picked from the created pool of Skills based on the Element profile of the Ziggymon.

Handling your Ziggymon
Once created, Ziggymon have the chance to increase their level, improve their skills, and even fuse with other Ziggymon. Due to their changing nature, Ziggymon will only be minted to NFTs when a player wants to sell it on the marketplace. This can be done by moving it on-chain into a wallet from the game.
At this point, the Ziggymon’s stats will be fixed until the NFT is brought back into the game, “un-minting” the NFT. All Ziggymon will be minted on BNB Smart Chain and are transferable to the Ziggyverse marketplace as well as other secondary markets.
